Community Labeling: Former Drug Convicts Become Drug Convicts Again

چکیده

This research was motivated by the discovery of information about ex-drug convicts at Class IIB Padang prison who returned to drug after repeating same incident. The purpose this study analyze influence labels on behavior ex-convicts in cases. uses Howard Becker's stigma theory. approach used is qualitative according type case study. Research informants were identified through a purposive sampling method with following criteria: prison, former convicts, families and communities where live. Data collected observation, interviews document validity test includes reliability, transferability, reliability control tests. Miles Huberman's interactive analytical model for data analysis. results showed that social influenced such as feelings fear conforming, abuse uncontrollable emotions.
